  • June 9, 2024 - Pre-conference Tour

    Also known as the “jetlag tour”, this day of activities will immerse you in Scotland and put you in good company with fellow immersive learning professionals in preparation for the conference. Join us in the morning for a tour of student exhibitions at The Glasgow School of Art, followed by a tour of downtown Glasgow’s murals and the art of this quintessentially Scottish city - completing our day in a local pub for a pint or a wee bit of whiskey and fellowship. 

  • June 10, 2024 - Civic Reception and Dinner

    On the evening of the opening day of the conference, we will gather at Glasgow City Chambers for a Civic Reception and Dinner where we will get the opportunity to meet the Mayor of Glasgow. Before dinner, guests will be greeted by a piper. The Haggis Ceremony will be performed during dinner with music planned after the dinner.

    NOTE: The civic reception and dinner are not included in the conference registration fee. Please remember to select your appropriate dinner option during registration.

    Starter
    Macsween Haggis, neeps and tatties with a whisky and pink peppercorn sauce

    Main Course
    Pan seared Scottish chicken supreme with a pine nut, bacon and parsley stuffing, roast potatoes, and kaffir lime scented carrots with roast tomato and garlic sauce

    Dessert
    Traditional raspberry cranachan, topped with toasted oatmeal, honey and whisky laced custard

  • Vegetarian Menu

    Starter
    Macsween Vegetarian Haggis, neeps and tatties with a whisky and pink peppercorn sauce (vegetarian option)

    Main Course
    Sweet potato, red pepper, spinach and edamame bean filo parcel on a cushion of bok choi with a chilli ginger, sesame and spring onion sauce

    Dessert
    Sticky date and toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce and dairy vanilla ice cream in chocolate wafer basket

  • June 11, 2024 - Travel to St. Andrews

    Day 2 of the conference will take place in St. Andrews. If you would like to ride the chartered iLRN bus, please remember to select it during registration. The bus is included in your in person registration fee.
