San Luis Obispo offers a wide variety of hotels and motels in all quality categories. Most business hotels are on Monterey Street, north of downtown, since its closer to Cal Poly's campus in the north-west, as well as still in walking distance to downtown.

Our "conference hotels" with better conditions for conference participants is Apple Farm. It is about a 30 minute walk to Campus or you can take an Uber or one of the public bus lines. For travelers on a budget, especially student friendly are accommodations in our campus dorms, see below.
