Volunteer Position: Content Writer for iLRN

About iLRN:
iLRN is a dynamic non-profit organization serving the immersive learning professional community through innovative programming, networking opportunities, and events. We are expanding our efforts and looking for a versatile writer to assist us as we spread the word about immersive education and keep our wider community abreast of new developments in topics related to iLRN’s mission and interests.

Position Overview:
iLRN seeks a dynamic and dedicated Volunteer Content Writer to craft compelling content for our monthly newsletter. The ideal candidate possesses a passion for immersive learning, a flair for storytelling, and the ability to translate complex ideas into engaging written content for a knowledgeable audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the editorial team to brainstorm and pitch article ideas.
• Research and write articles, profiles, and features related to immersive learning.
• Ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with our organization's voice and mission.
• Attend virtual or in-person events, interviews, and sessions as needed to gather insights.
• Edit and proofread content to maintain a high standard of quality.

Qualifications:

• Students strongly encouraged to apply!
• Experience in content writing, journalism, or a related field.

• You possess the ability to write engagingly and authentically.
• You have strong research skills and attention to detail.
• You have the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
