Volunteer Position: LaTeX Co-Editor
Location: RemoteCommitment: Intensive work for 4-8 weeks after the camera ready papers have been submitted. Typically between the months of February to May. Some meetings with the Publications Chair during the process.
About iLRN:
iLRN is a dynamic non-profit organization serving the immersive learning professional community through iLRN conferences and other initiatives and publications (e.g. Special Issue, Reports, and others). We are expanding our reach with a series of publications and need dedicated volunteers to ensure the quality of publications editions.Position Overview:
We seek a LaTeX Co-Editor to collaborate in the formatting and editing of scientific documents (papers, reports, and others) using editors such as LaTeX or overleaf, in order to guarantee technical quality and formatting consistency of documents in accordance with the templates, rules and guidelines of the conference or publisher.Key Responsibilities:
- Correctly apply templates, review formatting errors, with LaTeX or overleaf editor.
- Check the copyright and checklist.
- Complete the working document specifying the changes made to the papers.
- Make changes requested by the Publications Chair.
- Communicate and actively interact with the publications board, particularly the publications chairs of iLRN conference, via email or discord.
- Comply with the deadlines stipulated by the Publications Chairs.

Qualifications:
- Have proficiency in LaTeX or overleaf and specific editing/template functionalities.
- Have the ability and attention to detail to identify and correct formatting problems.
- Good communication skills to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Be organized and have the ability to work within tight and sometimes intensive deadlines.
